The Hill Country Hot Ticket
April 2 – April 5, 2026
Our mission is simple: we cut through the noise to bring you a curated list of the events, music, and local news that actually matter in Bulverde, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, and Blanco. No fluff, just the information you need to plan your week.
Live Music and Nightlife
Spring Branch: Max’s Roadhouse is the place to be this Saturday, April 4. The Klocks will be taking the stage for a high-energy night of covers.
• Insider Tip: There is no cover for general admission, but this show will pack out fast—call ahead to reserve a table if you want a guaranteed seat.
New Braunfels: Freiheit Country Store welcomes Kin Faux this Friday, April 3. Doors open at 6:00 PM with the full band hitting the stage at 9:30 PM.
• Insider Tip: This is a "rain or shine" venue. If you didn't snag a reserved table, arrive right when doors open to grab the best first-come, first-served seating near the dance floor.
Blanco: Twin Sisters Dance Hall features the County Line Band this Saturday, April 4, from 8:00 PM to midnight.
• Insider Tip: This is one of the most authentic historic halls in the state. It’s family-friendly, and tickets are only $15 for adults and $5 for kids 11 and under.
New Braunfels: Cowboys & Cadillacs has a solid lineup this weekend, featuring Austin Gilliam with Elysha LeMaster on Friday night and Keaton Adams with Jakob Botello on Saturday.
• Insider Tip: If you’re looking for a spot to two-step without the Gruene crowds, their dance floor is spacious and the sound system is top-tier.
Local Eats and Drinks
Bulverde: Don't miss the Bulverde HEB Lot Party this Friday, April 3. It’s a recurring favorite for a reason—it brings together dozens of local food trucks and small businesses in one place.
Canyon Lake: Wild Flour Bakery is a must-visit for Saturday morning. If you haven't tried their seasonal pastries yet, get there early before they sell out—their patio is one of the best quiet spots in the area to start your day.
Community and Events
Spring Branch: Join the Honey Creek Guided Walk at Guadalupe River State Park this Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 AM. It’s a rare opportunity to explore the pristine Honey Creek State Natural Area with a knowledgeable guide.
Blanco: The Old Blanco County Courthouse grounds are currently in full spring bloom. It’s a perfect weekend to walk the square and visit local boutiques before the major festival season kicks off later this month.
The Goal We keep these updates brief so you can spend less time on your phone and more time enjoying the Hill Country. We will see you out there!
